COE open bidding schedule for 2026

There are two COE open bidding rounds every month in 2026, with a two-week gap except for five of the scheduled exercises (Jan 5-7, Apr 6-8, Jul 6-8, Sep 7-9 and Dec 7-9), each of which is preceded by a longer three-week interval.

Generally, the two COE bidding exercises every month start on a Monday at 12pm in the week when the exercise is due, and ends with the results on Wednesday at 4pm.

The interval between COE bidding rounds is typically two weeks, but there will be a longer three-week break for five of the COE exercises in 2026, which are scheduled for January 5-7, April 6-8, July 6-8, September 7-9 and December 7-9. This is usually due to the five-Monday calendar month that precedes each of the 2026 dates in question.

These three-week intervals between COE rounds would give dealers extra time to do more sales and marketing, get car buyers into showrooms and roadshows, and hopefully park more orders in the book.
